STI Update
Target Audience
Physicians, midlevel practitioners (PA, NP), nurses, and other health professionals who see patients with or at risk for sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
Course Description
This course is offered as a 1+ hour, state-of-the-art update on current issues in STI diagnosis, treatment, and care. Topics presented include recent developments in clinical care for syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, evidence-based strategies for STI/HIV prevention. Clinical approaches to patient care are also considered.
Course Objectives
- Objectives will differ from update to update. Regardless, by the end of the update, the learners will better understand the topic and will have learned how to implement change in their workplace to reflect the update’s curriculum.
